S&P Dow Jones Indices, the global leader for benchmarks and indices, has joined direct indexing fintech C8 Technologies’ growing technology platform.
This will provide institutional investors around the world with access to select S&P Dow Jones Indices’ benchmarks which they can customise to suit their clients’ needs. S&P DJI joins other leading providers on the C8 platform, including IHS Markit, Morningstar, Ned Davis Research and Alerian S Network.
Via C8’s technology, institutional investors are able to fully customise their investments using direct active and passive index tracking across asset classes, and send them for execution via their existing dealing relationships in one seamless end-to-end process. This enables institutions to create bespoke portfolios with tailored risk profiles in a cost-efficient manner. The ability to exclude certain assets is increasingly appealing for those demanding more focused ESG investment strategies.
Mattias Eriksson, CEO of C8 Technologies, says: “I’m so pleased we can offer world-class strategies from S&P Dow Jones Indices to our clients’ investment portfolios. This integration boosts the momentum for direct indexing, providing more transparent and low-cost strategies for institutional investors around the globe. We are delighted to welcome S&P DJI onto our growing platform.”
Peter Roffman, Global Head of Innovation and Strategy at S&P Dow Jones Indices, adds: “S&P Dow Jones Indices’ market leadership is anchored on its highly recognised global brand and intellectual property. Our goal is to offer choice to investors by providing them access to our family of transparent and independent indices through multiple channels. We are delighted to work with C8 Technologies to reach a widening group of investors and index users.”
