Estera appoints Group Head of Funds

RELATED TOPICS

Estera, a leading global provider of funds, corporate and trust services, has appointed Ethan Levner as Group Head of Funds, with overall responsibility for funds operations across the 11 jurisdictions the business operates in.

Estera is a specialist in fund administration and associated services. It provides a full range of administration services to a wide variety of blue-chip companies across asset classes including private equity, property, debt and funds listed on the LSE and TISE.

Levner has assumed this role in addition to his responsibilities as Managing Director of Estera Guernsey and Group Head of Corporate Development.

Levner joined Estera in 2016 to lead the company’s growth strategy and has played a pivotal role in devising and executing that strategy through a series of selective acquisitions, which have transformed Estera’s capabilities and scale.

Farah Ballands, Chief Executive Officer at Estera, says “Ethan has already played a significant role in our Group growth strategy and the development of our funds business. His appointment as Group Head of Funds means he will be able to drive further growth and help cement our position as a leading provider of fund administration services across our jurisdictions.”

Levner adds: “Our funds business plays a central role in the success of the Group as a whole and I’m delighted to assume responsibility for further development of Estera’s offering in the funds space. It’s an exciting time for our funds business, not least because of our investment in the market-leading PE fund administration platform, eFront, and the acquisition of Luxembourg funds business, Allegro, subject to regulatory approval, as well as the launch of our new office in Guernsey. Our teams consist of private equity and listed funds experts, supported by deep operational scale, Group leadership commitment and ongoing infrastructure investment. Alongside our funds team, I am excited to continue building our business whilst ensuring we never compromise our core values of commitment to our staff and excellence in client service.”

Ethan has nearly 20 years’ experience in corporate strategy, private equity and investment banking. Before joining Estera, he was Director at AnaCap Financial Partners, a private equity fund focused on European financial services. Prior to AnaCap, he was Managing Director of JRJ Ventures LLP, a private equity fund focused on European financial and business services, and before that he was a Director of UBS Investment Bank, where he advised financial institutions on M&A, capital raisings and other restructuring activities.
